You can click on any of these files and play them as you browse the site. They are playing on your sound card so the quality of the music is dependent on the quality of the card. You might want to consider upgrading to a Sound Blaster Live card or trying one of the software General MIDI synths like Roland's VSC88, available through audiomidi.com. These will greatly enhance your listening pleasure.

Additionally, you can adjust volume levels by left clicking the speaker icon at the bottom right of your screen. Right clicking allows you to access the advanced features of your sound card.

When you click on one of these files you will be met by a two-choice prompt regarding downloading the file. Check on open from source if you want to hear the file only. Check on the save to disk if you want to do this. You will be prompted to choose a file and a location for these files. Make a folder called MIDI Files and place it on your desktop. You can then listen to these files at your convenience.

These files are mostly classical with a smattering of movie themes. I also included some Celtic files for a poignant or uplifting experience. I have not included any of my own files in MIDI form. You can experience MP3 files of my work at the audio page.

When you play a MIDI file the player will be visible on your screen. You can start, pause and stop the playback with it. If it disappears while you are working you can recover it by clicking on the file icon on the bottom left of your screen near the start icon.
